Privacy Policy

1. Information you provide

When you submit our contact form, we receive the information you choose to enter: your name, email address, company (optional), and the message you write. We use this only to respond to your inquiry and assess whether a project is a good fit. Providing it is voluntary, but without it we cannot reply.

2. Information collected automatically

When you submit the contact form, we also record the IP address the request comes from and include it with the inquiry we receive. We use it to understand where legitimate inquiries originate and to reduce spam and abuse. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs as part of operating the Site.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand general Site usage. It is privacy-friendly and cookieless: it does not follow you across other websites and does not build an advertising profile of you. It records aggregate information such as page views, referring pages, and general device and region details derived from your request.

We use Vercel BotID to distinguish real visitors from automated bots on our contact form. For that purpose it inspects technical signals from your browser and session, which protects the form from spam and automated abuse.

3. Cookies

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on the Site. Our hosting and bot-protection providers may set limited functional or security tokens that are necessary to serve the Site and prevent abuse. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

4. Booking a call

If you use a "Book a call" link, you are taken to Calendly, a third-party scheduling service. Any details you enter there are collected and handled by Calendly under its own privacy policy, not this one.

5. Service providers we rely on

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do rely on a small set of providers to operate the Site, and they process limited information on our behalf:

• Vercel for hosting, analytics, and bot protection.
• Resend to deliver contact-form submissions to our inbox.
• Calendly for scheduling, if you choose to book a call.

Each provider processes information under its own terms and security practices. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

6. How long we keep it

We keep contact-form messages in our email for as long as needed for correspondence and ordinary business records, after which we delete or archive them at our discretion. You may ask us to delete your information at any time.

7. Your choices and rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the contact information you have sent us by emailing kevin@skarnyx.ioCopied. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the EU and UK GDPR or the California privacy laws, including rights to access or delete your information and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share your information for advertising, and we will honor verified requests to the extent the law requires.

8. Security

The Site is served over HTTPS, and we work with reputable providers to protect the information we handle. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The Site is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

10. Visitors outside the United States

We operate from the United States. If you contact us from another country, your information will be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
