FAQ

How much does a production website cost?
Most builds land between $2,000 and $15,000 depending on page count and complexity: a 1 to 3 page site runs about $2,000 to $3,000, a 4 to 8 page site about $3,500 to $5,500, and a 10 to 20 plus page local-SEO build about $6,000 to $15,000. Estimate only. Your exact quote comes after a quick 15-minute scope call. Final price depends on the specifics.
What changes the price?
A few levers move your number. Page count and tier are the biggest one, since a 1 to 3 page site, a 4 to 8 page site, and a 10 to 20 plus page build sit at different ranges. Adding an edit-it-yourself dashboard, so you can swap your own photos, reviews, and text without a developer, adds $1,500. Connecting tools you already use, like online payments, booking, or your CRM, runs $500 to $1,500 per tool depending on complexity. How you take delivery matters too: stay on our managed hosting plan, or buy the code outright to own and host anywhere, which is roughly 0.75 times the build with a $2,000 minimum. And whether local-SEO scope, like a page for every service and the full Google setup, is part of the build pushes you toward the larger tier. Estimate only. Your exact quote comes after a quick 15-minute scope call. Final price depends on the specifics.
How long does a site take to build?
A typical site ships in 2 to 4 weeks from signed scope to launch. Smaller starter sites can land closer to two weeks; large multi-page local builds can run four to eight weeks.
Do I own the code?
Yes. At launch you pick your path: buy the code outright with full transfer of the GitHub repo and credentials, or stay on our managed plan with hosting, support, and maintenance. You can also self-host on your own infrastructure.
What happens after launch on the managed plan?
We handle secure hosting, SSL, daily backups, monitoring, and priority support. You also get two small content updates each month. Anything beyond that is quoted separately.
Can you connect leads to Jobber or another CRM?
Yes. CRM and tool connections are scoped as integrations, typically $500 to $1,500 per tool depending on complexity. We wire quote requests and form submissions into the workflow you already use.
Do you use WordPress, Webflow, or page builders?
No. Every site is custom-coded on Next.js with Tailwind. No plugin ecosystems, no drag-and-drop builders, and no platform lock-in.
Can't I just build this with AI?
You can get a decent looking page out of tools like Lovable, and we say so plainly. What they skip is the part that produces customers: server rendered HTML, real internal links, redirects from your old URLs, structured data, town and service pages, honest claims, and email records so leads actually deliver. We wrote an honest breakdown at skarnyx.io/why-not-ai, including when an AI builder is genuinely the right call.
